Usage Scenarios
Here are two usage scenarios for the main types of users of the platform that will demonstrate how the platform can be used to cover the needs of each: Value-Added Service ProviderThis will be a company that wishes to purchase a full license from Cytech Ltd . in order to be able to provide its own Value-Added Services, add further services that will suit its own clients' needs, and have all the duties and profits of being a service provider. Service providers can achieve better profit margins from the use of short codes from the mobile operators. Service Providers will usually be SMS providers or other mobile service providers that have an already existing and well-established client base and wish to extend the range of services they offer to include SMS-based services. To see some of the SMSP Service Providers visit our Customers & Partners page. Value-Added Service OwnerThis can be a person or company that wishes to provide its customers, employees, partners, etc. with an SMS-based service. In order to provide this service they can come in contact with an SMSP Service provider, such as Cytech Ltd. , in order to create this service for them. The service owner will then be provided with access to the service administration and management pages through the SMSP web-based application, which will allow them to access their service from any Internet-enabled location. The service owner can then proceed to advertise this service appropriately, in order to invite participants to send their SMS messages. The service owner will thus be able to view messages received by their service, statistics about the participants (if applicable for the specific service type) and service information. They will also be able to perform draws between the participants of the service and view their profits from this service (only applies if service is based on a premium SMS number). An example of this type of person is a radio station owner who wishes all the station shows to provide SMS-based services , such as simple opinion casting , votes , quizzes , etc. Once the services have been created for each of the shows, they can be advertised by the show hosts, who will invite the listeners to participate and use the SMS-based services. The listeners will use their mobile phones to send in SMS messages and will receive a reply with an appropriate message selected by the service owner, usually thanking them for their participation. |
